self portrait play
It’s been awhile since I got my slr out and played with self timed images, what we used to call self portraits before it evolved to selfies. it’s been awhile… had a bit of fun and hopefully next time I will be less rusty and find my groove… I used to be my go to if I needed a figure in an image back then it would have been film based. These are shot on my dslr and I used a flash light in my hand to play with the light in the first three, very spot oriented light dynamic.
Installation at Bellarmine Dec 2019
The beginnings of the installation has a lot of repetition. Plugging dowels into stands then plugging tree tops onto the dowels. Was nice to have assistance and to have such an amazingly covetable space to go with my modular works.
